Many Selves

MANY SELVES is a multidisciplinary exhibition that invites women and femme-identifying artists to explore the layered, complex and ever-evolving nature of identity.

This exhibition is an invitation to unearth the parts of ourselves we have hidden, lost, inherited, resisted or reimagined. Many Selves is about multiplicity, the contradictions we hold, the roles we inhabit, the masks we wear, and the selves we’ve shed or reclaimed. It is an intersectional and inclusive theme that welcomes vulnerability, experimentation and truth.

This exhibition honours softness and strength, identity and contraction.

We are not one thing. We are myth and memory.

We are shapeshifters, storytellers, lovers, fighters and dreamers.

This is not a single story - it’s a spectrum.

A rebellion against being boxed in.

These are our MANY SELVES.
