In 2025, Art School Africa co-curated The Voice of Art from Africa podcast, continuing our commitment to amplifying diverse voices across the continent. Hosted by Refiloe Mpakanyane, the podcast explores new ways of accessing and understanding contemporary visual arts from Africa, while building community and contributing to a growing archive of thought leadership. From conceptualising the season’s content to selecting and liaising with speakers, Art School Africa played a key role in ensuring that the podcast offered relevant, diverse programming and met all production timelines. Past speakers have included Thandiwe Muriu, Antwaun Sargent, Touria El Glaoui, and others.
